Our Siena Shopper is woven by hand in Italy using the traditional intrecciato technique. Generously sized and comfortable to carry, Siena is designed for everyday life, from work and city days to travel and weekends away.
Once woven, the finished bag undergoes a special wash that softens the leather and brings out subtle variations in colour and texture. The black leather is particularly distinctive, revealing nuances of charcoal grey and deep blue within the weave. As the light changes, so does the character of the colour, giving Siena a rich, almost fluid depth.
Over time, the leather will soften further and develop a rich, individual patina, making every Siena unique.
Siena is about raw beauty and understated luxury. The intricate weave, natural irregularities and nuanced tones of the leather are left to take centre stage.
The bag is intentionally unlined, revealing the craftsmanship of the weave inside and out. For smaller essentials and valuables, Siena comes with a zipped leather pouch, designed to sit inside the bag, move between your larger bags, or be carried on its own as a clutch.
